Maria Venezia is the Co-Founder of Karment, LLC, a management-consulting firm, with a passion for growing businesses.

A creative problem solver and forward-thinker, Maria has over 25 years of experience, with the majority of her time spent in brand strategy, communications and creative direction for new start-ups and high visibility projects.  She recognizes the importance of organizational culture as a defining trademark of a company’s brand and core values, and has the ability to attract and retain highly-experienced teams; and possess strong people skills to communicate at all levels.

 

Before devoting her work full time to Karment, Maria served as VP of Marketing and Communications for Vexos, a Tier II contract manufacturer.  As a start-up, Maria created and trademarked the company’s name, image & global brand strategy. In addition, she was instrumental in the development of their marketing collateral, website design, and video production.  Previously, Maria served in executive leadership roles in communications and marketing for both General Electric and Sonepar-USA.  Maria’s visual thinking landed a company award in Ted Magazine for Best of the Best corporate intranet.

Maria graduated Magna Cum Laude from Cabrini College with a degree in Organizational Management and a minor in Communications.  During her career, Maria was fortunate enough to study under some of the most innovative minds at General Electric, and was trained in lean six sigma standards, as well as attended numerous GE leadership & change management programs.

 

Creativity is in Maria's DNA.  When not working, she can be found cooking, taking photographs or working on a DIY project around the home.
